What Is PowerBI?

Power BI is a business analytics service by Microsoft. It aims to provide interactive visualizations and business intelligence capabilities with an interface simple enough for end users to create their own reports and dashboards. It offers data warehouse capabilities including data preparation, data discovery and interactive dashboards. Power BI is built on the foundation of Microsoft Excel.

Power BI can help connect disparate data sets, transform and clean the data into a data model and create charts or graphs to provide visuals of the data.

During my #30daysofpowerbi with Cities In Codes, we were split into different group where we interact with our team members, worked on different datasets. It was really enlightening and analyzing of a whole lot of data was analyzed.

Here are few charts been worked upon,

ETL was done, used and practiced on different dataset. The main process source for datasets, import dataset, clean data and visualize dataset and create report. There are a lot of functions and also ways to work around PowerBi.
